Lucky's adventure

On Tuesday Fei and I went into our pool.  We had a blast!  After we got dressed and went into town with Dad to run errands.  First we went to pick up criminal checks for our adoption agency then we went to the hairdressers to see if Dad could get his hair cut.  They said yes but not for a few minutes, so Dad took us to get sandwiches at Cherry's and we took them back to eat while he got his long hair cut all off.  I miss Daddy's long hair but he still looks nice.  Lucky was with us while we ate our lunch but when we were done I forgot him there.  I didn't realize he was missing until bed time.  It was awful.  I was so scared for him and sad for me.  I cried a little.  Mama made me retrace my steps until I was fairly sure where he was.  Then Dad drove us all down town at 10:00pm to look in the windows at the hairdressers.  It was dark and Mama had to use a flashlight but we saw him there and he was glad that we came to find him.  He was locked in of course so he had to spend the night there.  Then in the morning we hopped in the car and picked him up.  I was so relieved that he was ok.  He told me that he was scared at first but then when he got to know the ladies he wasn't that scared anymore.  Then we went to Tim Hortons so that Lucky could have a treat.  I've promised Mama that Lucky will stay in the car from now on. 

Yesterday Gramma picked us up and we went shopping in town.  We got to pick out our own clothes for school.  I got three outfits from two stores.  I love shopping with Gramma. 

Today Gramma and Poppa Nelson came for a visit.  Fei and I got to go in the pool while they visited with Dad and they all watched us in the pool. 

Right now families are starting to get referrals, we're going to see our baby really soon.  Hopefully tomorrow.  Mama says it might not be until next week.  I can not wait to see Anlin.  Mom reminds me that the baby's name might not be Anlin but probably. 

It's getting close

We were just reading on Rumor Queen and it looks like it's getting close to us finding out who our baby is!!
I'd really like to see our baby's face, I can't wait.

I finally lost that weird looking front tooth!  That you have all been asking about.  One more big front tooth to go.  I talk with a lisp now, and it sounds funny. 

I can't believe I'm done with grade 2 and I'm in grade 3.  Since school has been out we've been doing a lot of camping with our friends.  I love camping.  This past weekend we went to Gordon Bay for Dad's 44th Birthday.  We swam in the lake all day Saturday and Sunday, it was awesome.  We went in little blow up boats to a little island and then Fei, Hanna and I swam back.  Learning to use oars was fun. 

We took our rats on their first camping trip.  I think they had fun. 

Gramma took us shopping with our cousins Avery and Ty and we all got something new.  I got a new DS game, Toy Story 3, which is so awesome.  I love it.  We also saw the movie and it was great.

Next time I blog, we might know about the baby!!  Finally!!  After all these years!!  I've been waiting for my baby sister since I was 3.

NOOO, not my stuffies!

Mama was cleaning in our rooms and she decided we had too many animals.  I disagree.  It was very hard to choose.  In the end I think I kept more then Fei did, it was just too hard. 

Time with friends

Yesterday we went on a long bike ride with Haley, Hanna and Rosa.  We went to the Cowichan trail at Skutz.  Mama, Fei and I had to get our hair cut so we raced to the salon and got our hair cut while Daddy got everything ready.  Then we went to a parking lot where we were meeting Haley, Hanna and Daddy.  When we got there Fei and I jumped out of the car to see Haley and Hanna.  Then Daddy came in with his car and the bikes.  We were all ready so we jumped into Daddy's car and then met Rosa.  The bike ride was awesome, it was sunny and very hot.  Picnic lunch was great, we had fresh cherries.  Hanna and I planted cherry seeds and peas in a garden we made along the Cowichan Trail.  At the end Mama poured cold water over my head and it felt so good.  Then we went home to meet Willow and Meiling.  We played in the back yard and Dad put out the little baby pool (it's sorta for Isabel) and we all played in it.  We were all soaked in our clothes.  Then we got dried off and went to Mr. Mikes for supper.  It was our first time there and it was good.  After dinner we went home to get the dogs, Isabel and Lacie and we met Willow and Meiling with their dogs Winchester and Lokie at Bright Angel park for an evening stroll.  It was so fun.  Then we said good bye and we went back home to go to bed.  Today we're going to the theatre to see Shrek the Final Chapter.  I am so excited to see the show.

The Garden

Yesterday we went to Victoria to meet Anna and Abigail, we got to indroduce them to Isabel.  Today we're going to Haley's Birthday party.  Tomorrow is our dance rehearsal.  Next weekend is our school Fun Fair and later after that we're going camping.  I sure hope it's not raining.  At the Fun Fair there is a variety show and I'm dancing the Macaraina with Chloe, Anya, Kaitlyn and Ava.  It's going to be so fun. 

Last weekend my family worked together and made a garden in our back yard.  We even worked in the rain, now I have a cold.  I can't wait to pick and eat our fresh vegetables.  We planted lots of seeds and we bought lots of baby flowers. 

Our friend Jade (from Nanaimo) is getting a new baby sister named May, she is soooo cute!  We just saw the picture this morning. 

Isabel

Today Isabel came home from the SPCA.  She is soooo cute!  I've wanted a big dog all my life so this is pretty darn exciting.  We played with her in the back yard and she played fetch with a stick and a plastic bottle.  She is one tired puppy.  I love Isabel. 

Mothers Day Weekend

Last weekend we went with Haley and Hanna for a bike ride, we started at the beginning of the Cowichan Trail in Lake Cowichan.  After our bike ride we went to the weir, it's the end of the lake and the start of the river.  We'd never seen it before.  It was beautiful there.  Then we went to A & W. 

Yesterday we had no school, we went to Sage's Birthday party.  It was at a farm, we rode a horse named Drak and we got to pet baby goats, one was named Billy and the other one was named Romeo.  We also got to hold chickens.  I thought the chickens were cute.  After that we went to Haley and Hannas for a play and dinner.  Willow and Meiling were there too.  We all had fun. 

This morning we gave Mama a surprise.  It was an outside fireplace and new chairs, Daddy made us breakfast to eat at a fire in the morning!  After breakfast Fei and I bounced on the tramp.  Then Mom put out the picnic blanket and we painted our toes and fingers outside.  Tina and Dixie came outside too.  While we were letting our nail polish dry Tina was exploring the deck.  This afternoon we went to the Mothers Day tea and danced for the Mom's and Gramma's.  It was so good to see Gramma again, she just got home from a big cruise.  Auntie Brenda and Alec came to watch us dance today too. 

Tomorrow is Mothers Day and we are going to take Mama for brunch at Silver Bridge.  I'm hoping we can go to a movie after that, but Mama says we have to wait and see.  I think Mama would rather go for a bike ride if it's not raining.  Now we're going to watch my favorite show 'Ghost Whisperer'.
